I am passionate about Women's Health and feel very privileged to be able to walk with you on this journey.   Continuity of care and individualised care are associated with better health outcomes and I am pleased to be able to provide this service to the women of Townsville and the Far North Queensland region.

I grew up with my 3 sisters in the Waverley area of Melbourne and went to Monash University for my science degree and PhD in Molecular Biology.  My medical degree was obtained at The University of Melbourne and then I spent my residency at Monash Health and The Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne.

My  training  as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist was primarily spent in Queensland at various hospitals including Gold Coast University Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Caboolture Hospital and Townsville University Hospital.   I finished my training at Sandringham Hospital in Melbourne so that I could be with my family during the COVID pandemic and lockdowns.

I have set up my private practice in the same rooms as Dr Beata Peter-Przyborowska.  Dr Beata and I met one Saturday morning in 2013 at Gold Coast University Hospital over a Robert Timms coffee bag coffee and this was the start of an enduring friendship.  From the start, we discussed supporting each other in our private practices and now this dream has been realised.

Family is very important to me and I am very close to my twin sister Imogen and her two adolescent daughters.  We share our adorable French Bulldog called Gus and I love spending time with them.  Gus's hobbies are gardening and chasing boats.  My hobbies are hanging out with Gus, sewing, knitting and I have promised Dr Beata that I will join her exploring the reef even though I'm a bit scared of the sea creatures!

I look forward to meeting you and your family and guiding you through pregnancy or assisting you with your Women's Health concerns.
